The Origins of the Myth

I was once told by my father that driving barefoot is illegal. However, this claim has been disputed, and it appears to be nothing more than a myth.

According to Thomas Law Offices, there is neither a federal prohibition of barefoot driving, nor is there a state law to that effect.
