These major automakers have chosen Momenta’s assisted driving technologies for their vehicles, which is a testament to the company’s growing reputation in the industry. Momenta’s ADAS features have been installed in 26 car models as of last year, and the company expects to have 300,000 cars on the road using its technology by the end of May. Momenta’s co-founder and chief executive, Cao Xudong, recently made headlines by stating that the company is the first Chinese company to successfully deploy assisted driving technologies across multiple countries worldwide, including Germany, France, and Japan. “We are the first Chinese company that has successfully deployed assisted driving technologies, such as highway and city navigation features, across multiple countries worldwide, including Germany, France, and Japan,” Cao told reporters during a press conference at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show. Cao also revealed plans to launch a new artificial intelligence model later this year, which could create more advanced simulation environments that allow vehicles to teach themselves to drive.
